Best fish of the season so far is Sara Minerich's 32" walleye!!!!!! The Minerich's stopped by our store yesterday on their way to their cabin to pick up a few minnows. Jim, Sara's husband took Sara to his
"secret hotspot" this a.m. and WOW, a 32" walleye. Jim, the professional he is had forgot to bring the landing net. So, with the skilled hands of a surgeon he hand bombed the lunker into the boat for a few quik pics before the monster was released back into the depths. Jim and Sara, what a team.
The best musky I have been told about (and seen a picture of) was a 60-1/2" caught on Crow (kakagi) lake.
She was a beast to say the least.
44" is the best northern so far and how about an 18-1/4" crappie!!!
I am still getting good reports of lots of jumbo perch too.
