We are not far from freeze-up now. It has been a very nice fall though. The fishing has been FANTASTIC!!!
We are well into our whitetail hunt now. It has been a little slow with the nice weather. I am thinking that things should pick up this around the 5th to 7th as we are supposed to be getting a little cold and snow. The daylight hours will also be right to get the rut started.
Deer numbers are down some, but I have been guiding the last few days and all my hunters have harvested nice deer in one to two days. One of my clients got a nice buck last evening with a nice "STICKER". That is now 3 for 3 and that is not to to bad.
We are hoping to see all you FROZEN water fishermen this winter. We sure hope the traveling conditions out on the lakes are good.
We would also like to let you know that our M.N.R.'s Outdoors card system is now in our store (fishing only) and a swipe of the card is all we do now to get you a fishing license. It does seem easier.
