Well, it has been a while!
Here we go. We wrapped up the summer with a very successful season of fishing.
Both the Crow Lake Classic bass tournament and the new Nestor Falls Musky Cup
tournament had very good outcomes.
Our whitetail hunt was a little tough, but some VERY large bucks were taken.
Cindy and I both harvested good bucks and we also teamed up on a nice bull moose.
With that said, the wolf numbers are still high and taking a toll on our deer and moose,
not to mention the beaver, mice and everything else they eat.
The ice fishing has been good, even the crappies are biting!
