ICE IS OUT!!!!

With the lack of winter and the warm weather we have had, our ice is out !
We have been out on Sabaskong bay for over a week now in the boat and
boat travel has been possible on the trout lakes since Friday. One of the earliest
ice-outs that most here can remember.
The walleye fishing has been great. The ones I have talked to that have been out
for trout are catching a few, but those trout seem to bite much better about 5-7
days after the ice is gone.
If one were to say, WHAT A STRANGE YEAR, I think it would be an understatement???
In light of it all, I am guessing it has sent you all into summer mode. Time to get ready for
your trip to Nestor Falls to do some fishing, EH!!!
