With our hunting season over and ice on the lakes, it is time to think about doing some hard-water fishing.
We have between 12 and 14 inches of ice out to the crappie holes and the crappies have been biting. Lots of nice perch and a fair number of walleyes too.
I had a friend of mine out flying yesterday and he said there was still a fair bit of open water on Crow.
Not to sure about safe ice conditions for our trout opener??????
The bays on Crow have about six inches of good blue ice and it has been freezing the last couple of days.
I will keep you posted as I get more information.
