March Madness

Finally, spring has sprung!!! We have had some great weather as of late too. The trout, walleyes and perch are making us look good as fishermen. I have even had a few chances to sneak out onto the ice this last couple of weeks and for the most part have had some very good fishing. Saturday afternoon I took a family of friends of ours out and had a great afternoon of "Jumbo" perch fishing. The three kids were well entertained, about as fast as they dropped the jig down there was another eight to thirteen inch perch on it's way to the fry pan. We also caught several nice pan sized walleyes right along with the perch.
Here is the deal, you still have a few weeks of safe ice left and this is the best time of the season to get out on the ice. Get out and enjoy yourself.

Spring Is Almost Here!

Well, it looks like we are going to finally have some nice weather. Our weather here has been some
of the worst for outdoor winter activities in years, but the sun is gaining strength and the days are getting
warmer. I think most everyone will be happy to see this winter end.
Cindy and I are looking forward to getting out and doing some fishing over the next few weeks. The last
of the winter/spring ice fishing is when we enjoy being out. Besides, the ice fishing is normally the best from
now until the end.
We are also looking forward to seeing our non-winter friends and customers come back to see us. We
really enjoy waiting on and visiting with you all. It makes us feel good inside!

Catch The Good Life

Well, we made it through the winter carnival/fish derby. All went smooth. Great prizes, great food and
great music.
The lake travel is real good now and it is the time of the year when the fish put on a bib and pig out.
The next few weeks will be some of the best ice fishing of the winter, don't miss out!
